Darin De Paul to Host BlizzCon Community Night

Darin De Paul, the voice of Reinhardt in Overwatch, will host BlizzCon 2026 Community Night, Blizzard Entertainment announced. De Paul, known for his roles in Overwatch and World of Warcraft, will close out Day One of the show with a celebration of community creativity.

With his powerful presence and deep connection to the Blizzard universe, De Paul is a natural fit as Community Night’s master of ceremonies. His experience as a voice actor, including his iconic roles as Reinhardt and N’Zoth, will undoubtedly bring excitement to the event.

The Community Night contests are now open for submissions, with just over one week left to enter. The Cosplay Contest will be judged by an international panel of acclaimed creators, including Tiffany Gordon Cosplay, SameerTikkaMasala, Kamui Cosplay, Cinderys, and Cestlasara. These judges are recognized for their craftsmanship, creativity, and stage presence.

Tiffany Gordon Cosplay, for example, is a winner of BlizzCon 2023 Community Night’s Best in Show Cosplay and fabricates costumes and props out of various materials. SameerTikkaMasala, on the other hand, is a pioneering cosplayer from India with over 40 cosplay awards and experience in the film and television industry.

Kamui Cosplay is known for their elaborate costumes and DIY content on social media. Cinderys, a professional cosplayer and concept/3D artist, won BlizzCon 2019’s Community Night Grand Prize and Outstanding Creation awards.

Cestlasara, specializing in the sewn aspect of armour crafting, has been cosplaying since 2002 and was a Community Night finalist in both 2018 and 2019. She now represents Blizzard as a BlizzCon Ambassador at this year’s show.

They will judge the Cosplay Contest alongside other experts. The remaining Community Night contests, including Art, Short Film, and Talent, will be judged by Blizzard’s own creative experts in those respective categories.
